At first I wasn't thrilled about this album, but I know myself, anytime a favorite artist releases a new album I'm not an immediate fan. But this album is absolutely gorgeous. Melody's low, throaty voice is true throughout the entire album and is perfectly suitable for the grittier material she performs. I think simply because she is a breathing miracle, every song she sings reflects her gratitude for life. There's no time to waste on empty chatter or empty, compassionless relationships; make every moment count. And that to me is the underlying message here. This is a beautiful album. Don't miss out.
